Terms and Conditions
Operated by Stemm [ACN: pending], Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Last updated: May 2026.
By accessing or using Stemm (the "Service") you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.
1. What Stemm provides
Stemm is an online education product for salon owners. It includes recorded course content, interactive calculation tools, downloadable templates, and access to a member dashboard. Stemm is sold as a one-time purchase with lifetime access to the content available at the time of purchase.
2. What Stemm is not
Stemm is general business education. It is not financial, accounting, tax, legal, industrial relations, or professional advice. The calculations, benchmarks, and recommendations in the course are based on Australian industry data and the author's experience — they are guides, not personalised advice. Specific decisions affecting your business, tax position, employment arrangements, or financial position should always be made in consultation with your own qualified advisor.
You agree that you will not rely solely on Stemm content for any specific business, legal, tax, or financial decision, and that you accept full responsibility for decisions you make and actions you take based on the course.
3. Refund policy
We offer a 14-day refund period from the date of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25% of the course content. To request a refund, email hello@stemm.io with your order details within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are processed within 5 business days of approval.
After 14 days, or where more than 25% of the course has been accessed, refunds are at our sole discretion.
This refund policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Account and access
You must register for an account to access Stemm content. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account with anyone else. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
Lifetime access means access for as long as Stemm operates the Service. We reserve the right to discontinue the Service with reasonable notice, in which case you will be offered a pro-rated refund if the discontinuation occurs within 12 months of your purchase.
5. Intellectual property
All course content, calculators, written material, designs, branding, and structure are the property of Stemm. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own salon business. You may not:
- Share, copy, redistribute, resell, or republish any course content
- Use Stemm content to create competing courses or products
- Remove copyright or attribution notices from materials
- Use Stemm content to train AI models or in any automated system
Templates and downloadable resources provided in the course may be used in your own salon business but not distributed externally.
6. User-generated data
Stemm stores the data you enter into tools and calculators (such as your service list and pricing inputs) to enable the course to function across sessions and devices. This data is stored securely and is accessible only to you and to Stemm administrators for technical support purposes. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@stemm.io. Deletion of your data will remove your ability to use the tools, but does not affect your right of access to the course content.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Stemm and its operators, officers, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid for Stemm.
Nothing in these terms limits any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
